Tab Management
Favorites, history, and AI-powered tab organization.
OpenBrowse provides powerful tools to keep your browsing organized, combining traditional management features with AI-driven cleanup.
AI Tidy
When you have dozens of tabs open, it's easy to lose track of what you're working on. AI Tidy uses your configured AI model to analyze your open tabs and automatically organize them.
To use it, open the command palette (⌥K), select multiple tabs, and choose the Tidy action. The AI will:
- Group by Topic: Analyze the content and group related tabs into semantic sections (e.g., "React Documentation", "Flight Tickets").
- Rename Titles: Clean up messy or SEO-stuffed tab titles so they are concise and easy to read.
Auto-Tidy
If you prefer a hands-off approach, you can enable Auto-Tidy in settings. The agent will periodically analyze your tabs in the background and organize them into topics automatically, ensuring you always return to a clean workspace.
History & Recently Closed
Accidentally closed a tab? The command palette tracks both your recently closed tabs and your full browser history natively.
Press ⌥K and start typing. OpenBrowse searches everything simultaneously. When you select a recently closed tab, it restores it perfectly, preserving its back/forward history stack and scroll position just as you left it.
Favorites
Space Favorites allow you to pin frequently-used tabs. Because they persist across sessions and are scoped to the current Space, they act as your contextual bookmarks.
You can access your favorites by opening the OpenBrowse home tab (⌥⇧I) or directly from the command palette (⌥K).
